Elliot Biography
Elliot can be described as the rule follower, the disciplined one of the duo. He doesn’t see things as creatively as Moriddian does, and he constantly has to adjust his way of thinking and seeing things. Elliot also has a much rarer fiery side to him, and this diversity allows him to bond with many different kinds of people in different ways.
He is a dream Viah, a sort of servant that follows a certain Diah, or the “Gods” of this world. Viah is granted demigod-like powers from their Diah as well as immortality, with the exception of being able to be fatally wounded. In places where Diah worship is more prominent, Viah has a very high status.
Elliot holds a large amount of power both magically and politically. He treats his role as a viah with the utmost respect. Because he holds his status so highly, he often puts a lot of pressure on himself to live up to his ideals.Narrative role: Elliot is the main character; the story primarily follows his perspective.

Moriddian Biography
Moriddain is considered to be careless and curious. However, he lacks an understanding of mortal emotions and other aspects of humanity.He is the God of Death, however, treats his duties with a lacklustre approach after so many centuries upon centuries of acting them out, often treating them trivially.Narrative role: Moriddain is the secondary main character and foil to Elliot’s character; He also is a driving force for the overall story
